This is the crux of all news - you need to know five things:
Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?
Remember to write in 3RD PERSON (i.e. keep I/me out of your story).

At Tauranga Intermediate School 1on friday Brando came in to our school to tell us about walking around New Zealand. He was just doing it because he was in a lot of trouble with the police so he decided to go for a very long walk around the side of New Zealand.
